May 2025 - New Chapter added: 1981

One year later, I finally announced the release of another chapter (I know, I am very slow, I hope 1982 will come sooner).
1981 was an exciting year. The Apple II saw the release of several groundbreaking titles: Castle Wolfenstein, the game that introduced stealth mechanics; Softporn Adventure, the first adult-themed interactive fiction; and two key games in the history of RPGs: Ultima and Wizardy. On the Atari 8-bit, I mentioned Eastern Front (1941), an advanced war simulation that featured smooth scrolling and an impressive AI. For nostalgic reasons, I could not avoid talking about some Vic-20 games like Radar Rat Race.
I hope you like it. Let me know if you have feedback.
Enjoy!
